Obituary for William Ernest Wells
It’s with heart-felt sadness we announce the passing of William Ernest Wells of Dover, NL.
William is predeceased by his son Dawson, father Edric Wells, mother Flossie Johnson (Collins), step-father George Johnson, parents-in-law Kenneth & Olive Lush, brother Gordon Johnson, and daughter-in-law Debbie Wells (Collins).
William leaves to mourn his loving wife and best friend of 56 years Elva Wells (Lush), sons Dean, Gonzo (Lisa), Howard (Tracey), five grand-children (Dean Jr., Kristen, Lucas, Destinee, & Kiley), five great grand-children (Sydney, Sophia, Harlow, Willow, & Avery), two brothers (Alvinwood & Edward), four sisters (Irene, Betty, Nancy, & Dola), along with a large circle of extended family and friends.
For those of us fortunate enough to be in his presence quickly knew his love for family and friends were a focal point in his life and meant everything to him.
As a Husband and as a Dad, we are eternally grateful for the fundamentals of life you instilled and are thankful for the precious moments we had together.
You will always be a constant reminder of the beauty of family and the importance of friends.
You will be forever in our hearts.
Funeral service to be held at the Salvation Army Corp, Hare Bay, NL on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
