Obituary for Eileen Marie Patey (Crewe)
Following a brief, unexpected illness and surrounded by her loving family, Eileen Marie (Crewe) Patey, age 70, of Traytown, passed peacefully away on Tuesday December 21, 2022 at Central Health Regional Heath Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Eileen was predeceased by parents, Harold & Doris Crewe of Glovertown, her brother-in-law Roy Legge and her niece Dana Blackwood Cox.
She leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 49 years, Wayne, her daughter Kimberly (Chris Gordon) and her son Ross (Sam) and her beloved grandchildren Colton, Paige, Ty, Brooke, Kylei, Jakson, Morgan and Noah.
Eileen will be deeply missed by her siblings Melinda Legge, Hertha (Wayne Blackwood), Evelyn (Elias Oram), Geraldine (Baxter Blackmore), Harold Jr (Jacqueline) and Lorraine (Norm Brown) and by all her nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Eileen was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and aunt and a kind and loyal friend to all who knew her.
She loved playing guitar and singing with her family and was a proud survivor of breast cancer.
The family will receive visitors at Oram's Funeral Home Glovertown on today Thursday December 22, 2022 from 7-9 pm.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday December 23, 2022 at Faith United Church in Glovertown.
Service will be live-streamed to Oram’s Funeral Homes Facebook Page.
Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery in Traytown.
In Eileen's memory, donations may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
