Obituary for Frank Wilkins

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Frank Wilkins announces his untimely passing, at the age of 56 in the early morning of October 25th, 2022. Frank was surrounded by his loving wife and boys at the J.P.M Hospital in Gander, NL, when he peacefully went to his eternal home.

Frank was born on March 9th, 1966, to Caleb and Katherine Wilkins of Hare Bay. On the 29th of June in 1988, he married Fanny Phillips of Whitbourne. Together, they spent 34 years loving one another, in which time they welcomed and raised 3 beautiful boys, whom Frank loved unabashedly and openly.

He was a stout man of God who stood firm in his beliefs, and in teaching those values to his boys. Frank loved his wife above all others on this earth. He was adored for his endless wealth of kindness and humour. He found some of his greatest joy in driving his school-bus and connecting with the many children that looked forward to seeing Frank every day.

Frank left us with the strength to move forward with the will of The Lord, holding our fond memories dear, and His teachings at the forefront of our mind.

Frank is predeceased by his parents, Caleb and Katherine (Preston) Wilkins.

He will be remembered fondly by his siblings: Bernice, Carl, Cecil, Clifford, Colleen, Donald, Eileen, Fred W., Fred C., Gerald, Hubert, Irene, Jack, Joyce, Kathleen, Lilly, Lindsay, Mike, Nancy, Nelly, Roy, Shirley, and Phyllis.

Frank will be forever missed by his endearing wife, Fanny, and his three sons: Stephen (Angela), Daniel, and Benjamin. His family will pass on memories and teachings in Franks image to his adoring grandchildren, Ezra and Thea.
