Obituary for Nora JANE Wolfrey

'Those who love us don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near … still loved, still missed and very dear”

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, the family of Jane Wolfrey announce her passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital at the age of 78 years.

Predeceased by her parents James and Elsie Wolfrey, sister Viola Blake, brother Jobe Wolfrey, and her sister in law, Angela Wolfrey.

Left to mourn are her siblings Edith Sheppard, George Wolfrey, John Wolfrey (Ethel), David Wolfrey (Charlotte), Stanley Wolfrey (Judy), and Tony Wolfrey (Blanch); as well a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

Jane spent a lot of time with her family and friends, made an impact to all those who were blessed to be in her company. Over the years, there were many who fondly call her 'Aunt Jane'. She was a kind person and well respected in the community, a proud member of the SUF.

Jane enjoyed to knit, and rarely missed watching a good game of hockey and curling. She enjoyed playing card games, putting together puzzles, and especially loved a good game of Scrabble. She will be missed deeply.

A funeral service will be at 2pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the Holy Cross Church in Eastport.

Arrangements entrusted to the care of Oram's Funeral Home Glovertown.
