Obituary for Angela Delores Wolfrey (Turner)
Angela Delores Wolfrey, was born on April 12, 1950, to Samuel and Charlotte (Matchim) Turner, in Happy Adventure, NL.
It is with great sadness that the family of Angela announces her sudden passing at Health Sciences Center in St. John's on July 28, 2022.
She is pre-deceased by her parents.
Left to mourn is her devoted husband George of 54 years; her grateful children, Sherry, Vicky (Tim), and David.
Grandchildren, Jill (Jamie), Jenifer (BJ), David, Ben, Sydney, Samuel, Mackinley, and Chelsea.
Great-grandchildren, Madison, Jamilyn, Camdyn and Chase.
Her siblings – Sisters: Elizabeth (Robert), Marion (Blair), Wanda, Norma (Ronald), Kimberly (Rob); Brothers: Kenneth (Evangeline), Roger (Gail), Paul (Alfreda), and close sister in law, Jane; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends near and far.
Angela loved spending time with her family, knitting, crocheting. Over the years, she created many happy memories as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Angela was known and respected as a woman of deep love for her family and her endless kindness, goodness, and words of wisdom were felt and embraced by many. A beautiful person.
A funeral service will be at 11am on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Holy Cross Church in Eastport.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart Association.
