Obituary for Michelle Elizabeth (Sheppard) Thoms
It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Michelle (Sheppard) Thoms announce her passing into the arms of Jesus, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. Johns on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 at the age of 48 years.
Predeceased by her precious baby girl Michaela, her Grandparents Maxwell and Jessie Sheppard, John and Lily Lee, Aunt Shirley Lee, Aunt Merretta Sheppard, Cousin Dale Sheppard and Father in Law John Thoms.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her Husband Robert Thoms, Stepson Matthew, Mother Mabel Oram (Ed), Father Ronald Sheppard (Regina), Siblings Rhonda Simms, Sonia Penney (Shane), Jackelyn (James), Craig (Nancy), Mother in law Alvina Thoms, her most beloved nieces and nephews, who meant more than the world to her and her dear friends.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the amazing doctors and nurses at the Health Science Centre and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital during these last 6 months. A big heartfelt thank you to all of our family and friends who have supported us and have been lifting us up in prayer during these difficult days.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michelle’s memory to the kidney foundation.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions visitation and Funeral Service will be by invitation only.
Visitation will take place at Oram’s Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3rd , 2021 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 4th, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Evangel Pentecostal Community Church in Gander with Interment to follow at the All Saints Cemetery.
