Obituary for Florence Stagg
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phebe Florence Stagg. Florence was predeceased by her husband Stewart Stagg, Parents James Stockley and Beatrice (Glover), Siblings and her grandson Robbie Turner.
She leaves to mourn her loving daughters Michelle (Vaden), Olive (Robert) and Son Ches (Lee). Grandchildren Renee, Heather, Aaron, Jessica, Jaimie-Leigh, Nicole, Kelly, Glendene, Sherry-Lynn, Stanley, Stewart, Deanne, Shawn, Mellisa and Robert. As well as many adorable Great and Great Great Grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn a circle of family friends, with special mention to Stan Diamond and Marilyn Mansfield-Stagg.
Florence was a natural comedian. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. Her understanding of sarcasm was uncanny. She loved the show Two and a Half Men, never missed any of her “stories” and was obsessed with the movie Home Alone. Florence was also an amazing cook, her pease soup and blueberry pudding with custard was her specialty. Most important of all, she believed in God and read her Bible. Florence loved her family and we will miss her every day.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Viewing and Funeral Service will be by invitation only. Viewing will be held at Oram's Funeral Home in Glovertown on Wednesday, June 2nd 2021 from 11:00 to 1:00pm. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30pm at Oram’s Funeral Home. Interment at Faith United Church Cemetery.
