It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving mother/grandmother Josephine (Josie) Button, age 88 years at Bonnews Lodge. She peacefully left her earthly home on April 3,2021 and is now reunited with her loving husband forever in their heavenly home. Our loss is heaven’s gain.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Yvonne, Calvin (Sandra), Pauline (Tom) and Rick (Carol). Grandchildren: Nicole, Nadine (Brad), Jocelyn (Matthew), Mark (Angie), Melanie (Josh), Heather (Joey), Nathan and Jordan. Great Grandchildren: Brooklyn, Daniel, Kendra, Braeden, Olivia, Jamie, Isla, Addison and Lillian and a large circle of family and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Bill, parents William and Emily Rogers, brothers Percy, Samuel, Belah, Gordon and sister Daisy and son in law Wilf Cheater.

Viewing and funeral service will be by invitation only due to COVID-19 Restrictions. Viewing will take place at Oram’s Funeral home, Dover on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Funeral service to follow at 2pm from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Hare Bay.

We would like to thank the staff at Bonnews Lodge for their compassionate care of our mom during her stay and especially to her and her family during her last few days.
