Obituary for Helena Roberts
With sadden hearts, the family of Helena (Babe) Roberts announces her passing on March, 7th 2021 at Fosterbrooke LTC in Newcastle On, at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her husband Marshall, son Larry, daughter Kathleen, son in-law Kevin, brothers Jerry and Angus, sisters, Josie, Dolly, and Maggie.
Leaving to mourn with beautiful memories are her children Calvin (Carol), Sylvia, Jack (Karen), Pauline (Rankin), Bernard (Phyllis), Patsy, Sherman and her many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with a large circle of nieces and nephews.
In Helena’s memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
A special thank you to the staff at Fosterbrooke LTC who took such good care of our Mom who had been in their care for a number of years. We would also like to thank them for the kindness and compassion they showed our family over the past days during this most difficult time. With Covid restrictions we appreciate more than they will ever know the time we were able to spend with her either in person or virtual visits. She will be sadly missed.
Resting at Oram’s Funeral Home, Dover, NL
Due to Covid restrictions viewing will be for immediate family only.
The funeral will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Hare Bay, NL where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband Marshall.
