Obituary for Mary Wiseman (nee Keats)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. On December 3rd, 2020, Mary Wiseman (nee Keats) at the age of 88 passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes in Gander.
Predeceased by husband Garland Wiseman; Brothers Hedley, Watson, and Fred; Sister, Wilhelmina and son-in-law Alfred Coccia.
She leaves to mourn her children Paul, Diane (Ralph Collins), and Maxine Coccia; brother Wilbert Keats (Margaret) and sister Priscilla Keats; grandchildren Emily, Evan, Stephanie, Natasha, Charlene, and Lisa; great-grandchildren Mitchel, Cody, Brianna, Christopher and
Sofia; one great-great-grandchild, Arielle; many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
We would like to thank the nursing staff of Lakeside Homes in Gander for the kindness, exceptional care, and compassion shown to her and our family. Mary spent many enjoyable hours socializing with friends and knitting for the workers, which kept her busy up to her final days.
Visitations will be held at Orams Funeral Home in Dover on Friday December 4th from 2-4 pm. There will only be one visitation for immediate and extended family, as per COVID-19 regulations.
Service will be held on Saturday December 5th at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army church in Hare Bay.
