It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Essie Peddle on April 27, 2020.
She is predeceased by her parents, Wesley and Clarice Bradley, sister in law Edith Peddle, and brother in law Frank Peddle.
Leaving to mourn our sad loss her husband of 50 years, David H Peddle, daughter Zipporah Peddle (Michael), son Brody Peddle (Margaret), grandchildren Alex and Olivia Peddle. Also, her sister Kay Bradley (Freeman Rumbolt), brother Greg Bradley (Linda), nieces Vicki Rabby and Nori Bradley, and nephew Bradley Moss, as well as her brothers-in law Calvin Peddle (Pat), Greg Peddle (Debbie), and many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends.
There is a lot that one could say about Essie. To those who knew her medical history and her disposition, she was an inspiration. Never a complaint, never a hint of self pity. She did not let her illness define her nor restrict her capacity to enjoy life. She travelled, she worked, she loved, she raised a family, and she laughed. She will be forever missed and remembered for all the joy she brought to those around her.
Due to restrictions brought on by the COVID 19 Virus, a private burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29th, 2pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Eastport.
