Ira Collins, age 72, passed away suddenly on April 9th, 2020, at his home in Centreville. Born on June 3rd, 1947 in Hare Bay. The first son of Ella (Reid) and Lawrence Collins. Ira spend his working life in Ontario, where he met and married his wife Beverley (Cox) and raised his 2 daughters. After retirement he moved back to NL.
Pre deceased by his parents: Brothers, Floyd, Morris, Duke, and Austin: Sisters Nancy and Gale.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, Beverley, his wife of 41 years. His daughters Laura of Centreville, and Colleen Smiles (Kevin) and his 2 cherished grandchildren Amelia and Sawyer of Ontario. Brothers Job (Mary), Jeff (Cynthia), Tony (Helen), Sterling (Ann), and Ivan (Paulette). Sisters Juanita (Cliff Stockley), Lillian ( Don Welcher), and Jill (Jeff Glover). Deceased parents in-laws Harold Cox (Sadie), brother In-law Harold Cox deceased, brother in-law Ernest Cox (Carol), Sister In-law Dorothy Stein (Albert), Sister In-law Marilyn McMann (Frank), Sister In-law Carol Lake (Lewis) deceased, and brother in-law Dennis Cox (Evelyn). Also leaving behind a large circle of extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
