Maxine, Sadly, we found the notice of Daphne’s passing today. We had met you and your mom on our first visit to Salvage in 2008. It was a only a week’s vacation but we have still great memories and the one that endures is your mom’s smile and introductions to her “new” neighbours in Edyth’s cottage next door. Of course she had a home baked pie for us as well. We had a great chats with Daphne and continued a correspondence until her move to New Brunswick. You of course know your mom was a special person and constantly reminded of this from the many people who have had the pleasure of meeting her. We just wanted to be among those “many”. Hoping you and your family are keeping safe during the pandemic. The Curran’s, Ottawa
