Obituary for Mildred Violet Collins
Born October 19, 1942 and entered into eternal rest in September 23, 2019 peacefully with her family by her side. Mildred was born in Greenspond NL, one of seven children and then began her married life in Hare Bay with Ross Collins. She went on to have three children and her devotion to her family guided her life. She continued over the years to touch other lives with her kindness and generosity . She left this world as she lived .. with a song in her heart and a smile on her face.
Pre-deceased by her parents Samuel and Evelyn Cooze, son Colin, sisters Amy (Richard) and Louise (Norman) and brothers Alan and Saul (Margaret).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories , her Husband Ross, Son Dale ( Shelley), Daughter Gail (Blair) , Grandchildren Ryan and Adrianna , Brothers Kerm (Kathleen) Reg (Margaret) Sister-in-law Shirley. Many nieces and nephews , great and great great nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Many other extended family and friends, too numerous to mention, are also mourning her loss.
Resting at Oram’s Funeral Home , Dover, NL on Wednesday September 25, 2019 from 2-3 for family , 3-4 pm and 7-9 pm for public visitation. Funeral service will be held on Thursday , September 26, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Salvation Army Church in Hare Bay, NL. Internment to follow at the Lockyer’s Bay Cemetery.
