Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, September 12, 2019, Garland Wesley Powell of Happy Adventure, aged 81 years. Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Barbara Powell, beloved wife Lily Powell (Frampton), brother Colin Powell, sisters Dorothy Powell, Stella Powell, Margaret Wilcox, Naomi Powell, and Geraldine Surette. Leaving to mourn and in loving remembrance, sons Gary Powell (Cathy), Daniel Powell (Robyn) and Charles Powell (Leslie), daughters Margaret Burry (Arnold) and Jacqueline Powell (Omar). Garland was the proud grandfather and great grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Resting at the Good Shepherd United Church, Happy Adventure. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2 pm. Donations to the Good Shepherd United Church would be graciously appreciated.
