Obituary for Alice Irene Squire Beck

SQUIRE BECK, Alice Irene (June 3, 1956-May 7, 2019), Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Samson Joseph Squire, mother-in-law Martha Beck, father-in-law George Beck, and brother-in-law Wallace Beck. Leaving to mourn her husband George Robert Beck, her mother Violet May Squire, brothers: Jared Squire (Julia), Robert Squire (Karen Powell), William Squire, Clyde Squire (Monica); sisters: Christine Squire, and Doris Anne Squire-Barron (Paul); brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles Beck (Shirley), Emily Collins (Freeman), Grace Antle, Diane Clarke, Patricia Hussey (Peter), William Beck (Geraldine), David Beck (Sharon), Jessie Beck, Rodney Beck (Young-a Yoo); step-children: Tracy Kelly (Keith), Tammy Beck (Cory Kelly), LeRoy Beck; step-grandchildren: Quinton Beck, Keshia Beck (Freeman), Jillian Kelly (Tyler Welsh), Maria Kelly, Coralee Kelly; great grandchildren: Kaylee Beck, Everley Beck, Nevaeh Welsh, and Madison Kelly; nieces and nephews: Donna Lynn Squire (Brian Palmer), missing nephew Gordon Squire, Robert-Paul Barron, Hannah May Barron, Zachary Squire and Isaiah Squire as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Oram’s Funeral Home, Eastport. Alice was the first female master of the Society of United Fishermen Lodge #51 in Eastport. She was also the first woman to be Supreme Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of the SUF and is a past president of the Ladies Council.
