Charles Edward Oldford of Burnside, passed peacefully away on April 19, in his 96th year. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Matchim) of 67 years, his Parents Alphaeus and Sarah (Dyke), Brothers Douglas, John and Stratten, Sisters Beryl, Martha (Matchim), Lydia (Bull) and Ida (Bradley).
Leaving to mourn are his Children Wayne (Jacqueline) and Lynda (McKenzie), his sister Catherine Mullins, his Grandchildren Sarah and Jenny Oldford (fiancé Shamus), Charlie (Allison), McKenzie and Leah Babstock, Great Granddaughter Anna Sarah Traverse, as well as Nieces, Nephews and a large circle of Family and Friends. He will be resting at Oram’s funeral home in Eastport and St. Alban’s church in Burnside. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 22 from St. Alban’s, Burnside at 2 PM with interment at St. Alban’s cemetery. All are welcome to join us, following the service, in the Church hall. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Alban’s church.
