Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on December 30th, 2018, Eli Alexander Garland Heffern of Salvage at age 88. Predeceased by his Wife Marion (Dyke), Parents, Wilfred and Ida Heffern (Shute), Brothers, Pearce, Heber and Grand Daughter Beulah Babstock.
Leaving to mourn, Three Sons, Douglas, Geoffery (Denise), Gary (Trina), Three Daughters, Joy Penney (Roger), Valarie, Elizabeth Vatcher (Melvin), Brothers, Arthur and Allister, Nine Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Resting at Oram's Funeral Home, Eastport with visitation Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 and Wednesday, January 2nd from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Funeral to take place on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at 2:00pm from St. Stephen's Hall, Salvage with internment at the Anglican Cemetery. Service will be conducted by Rev. Juanita Freeman.
