Passed peacefully away after a short illness with family by her side at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL on Friday, May 4, 2018.

Predeceased by husband Nathan, Parents John & Mildred Skiffington; Brothers, Eugene, Alonzo, Edwin, Allister and Maxwell; Brother-in-laws & Wives – Lester(Anna), Llewelyn(Nellie), Herbert, Henry(Maud), Ruben (Millicent), Hubert (Jane), and Joe Carroll.
Irene is survived by Sister-in-laws, Mary Skiffington, Flossie Skiffington , Norma Skeffington, Winnie Skeffington, Olive Perry, Mary Carroll and Grace Feltham; Step-brother Lonnie Blackwood. She also leaves behind many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces of which she cared so deeply about.

Resting at Orams Funeral Home, Glovertown. Visitation will be Sunday, May 6th 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00. Funeral Service is at Faith United Church, Glovertown @ 2:00 pm on Monday May 7th. Flowers are greatly accepted in her memory.
