Our heart felt condolences to you all on the passing of your father and grand father.
I had many chats with Gord some years back when he and Beat would come and stay with John and Marie for the winter in CBS. Stories of how he and his brother worked hard in the fishery in the early days and then how they went to work in the lumber woods in Terra Nova when the fishery crashed back then. How they worked hard with saw and ax blazing the trail from Terra Nova to Triton Brook while trying to protect their lunches from the lurking hungry bears. He always had me capitivated. He sure wasn't shy of hard work. Always pleasant and smiling and with a totally unassuming demeaner. He was an inspiration to say the least. Hold fast to the memories of the past and the comfort that only God can impart as you travel through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
