Passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on October 30th. 2017 Ronald Crocker in his 64th. Year. Predeceased by his parents Alonzo and Ida Crocker. Left to mourn his life-long friend and companion, Essie Cadwell. Also, a number of cousins, uncles and numerous friends.
Born on Flat Island, Ron spent his early years in Toronto and returned to Newfoundland in the mid ’80. Over the years he ran several businesses from his Burnside location. He was known throughout the province for “The Burnside Shop” and his “pudding bag” operation.
Funeral to be held on Friday at 2 p.m. from St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Burnside with interment in the Anglican Cemetery.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday November 2nd. at Oram’s Funeral Home in Eastport from 7 pm to 9 pm. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Alban’s Church, Burnside.
