It is with great sadness that the family of Clyde Bertram Taite announces his peaceful passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, on Sunday April 30, 2017, age 87 years. Clyde leaves to mourn his loving wife, Juanita, of 53 years, his three children Peter (Pauline), Diane Lorenzen (Bill) and John (Jennifer), four precious grandchildren, Steven, Jeffrey, Jillian and Jeremy. Also leaving to mourn brothers Sam (Nellie), John (Peggy), Job (Madge), and Sisters Ida, Lily (Hubert), and Blanche (Don) and a large circle of extended family and friends, He is predeceased by his parents Darius and Edith as well as brothers David (Edna), Clayton and Arthur and brother in law, John Blackmore.
He is resting at Oram's Funeral Home, Glovertown. Visitiation will be held Tuesday, May 2, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Faith United Church in Glovertown on Wednesday, May 3, at 2:00pm. Donations can be made to Faith United Church or to a charity of one's choice.
