Condolence: Growing up the highlight of the day for us kids was going to Jackson's store. Where Mister or Misses Jackson would be waiting with a smile. Looking back now I am grateful for her patience (waiting for us to count out pennies, nickels & dimes) Her kindness (when she would open the store early , when I'm sure she had many other things to do ) Now as I watch my child play with his friends I'll keep those lessons close and practice them often. Condolence: Another wonderful lady has gone to her heavenly home. I (Lenora) always knew her as a second mother since, it seems I spent as much time at her house as I did at mine. She was a very patient lady who not only tolerated us but most of the time was a part of our fun and games. Her smile and sense of humour was ever present and I enjoyed visiting her throughout the years. Even in her latter years as her memory faded, she always knew me and was able to recall the early days with a smile and laughter.
