Mary Joyce Cooze passed away peacefully On September 12, 2018 at James Paton Memorial hospital in Gander, NL. She was born to Fred and Millie (Jones) on June 21, 1949 in Markland, NL.

She is survived by her husband Pearce, son Ken (Wanda), daughters Lisa and Kim, siblings; Caroline (Ray), Frank (Marie), Marina (Wally), Betty (Reginald) and Sandra (Randy) and grandchildren Justin and Kyle.

Joyce was dedicated to her faith, The Evangel Church and reading from her Bible. She will forever be remembered as being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was very compassionate in everything she did. She was a selfless, kind, patient and giving woman. She truly appreciated the simple things in life; soaking up the sun, looking after the garden, cooking in the kitchen and caring for her family.

Visitation will be held at The Evangel Pentecostal Church on Friday, September 14th from 2-4 and 7-9. The service will take place on Saturday, September 15th at the church. The burial will follow after the service at The Hare Bay Pentecostal Cemetery.
