Obituary for Margaret Keats

Margaret Marion Pocock Keats, age 97, entered into Heaven's arm on Monday, October 30, 2017 with her family by her side at the Gander Hospital.
Born December 3, 1919 in York County, Toronto, she was in training as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Toronto, where she met and then married William Frederick Keats. In addition to her nursing career, she undertook duties as a wife, homemaker, and mother of 3. Margaret enjoyed baking for others, gardening, and demonstrated a great love for animals, but she especially enjoyed the study of the Bible.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband, Fred; children; John(Irene), Linda, Carol(John); 5 grandchildren; Amanda(Sam), Angela(Kenny), April(Simon), Adam(Elizabeth), and Stephanie(Lee); 5 GreatGrandchildren; Georgia, Taylor, Britain, Charli Paige, Asher and a large circle of family and friends..
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brother Peter Pocock.
She will be remembered as a shining light sharing her love of Jesus to everyone she met. The Keats family send their gratitude to the staff at James Paton Memorial Hospital for their loving care.
Visitation will be at Hare Bay Pentecostal Church Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. The Funeral service will be on Friday, November 3, 2017. Internment to follow at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Hare Bay, Newfoundland.
