I remember fondly the wonderful conversations I had with Sam in his workshop about boat building and woodworking. Sam had such a nurturing and passionate personality and was generous in sharing his knowledge, which was vast. He once explained to me all I needed to know about building a dory. Often while picking up Paul, in the heat of summer evenings, me and Sam would have a huge cuffer about building houses, big jobs that he had worked on, types of wooden boats used in the fishery, and of course, tools!
Both Sam and Bernice were beautiful people. Although it is sad that they have passed, I believe that they had true happiness together.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear this sad news. There were many fine, well respected and kind men in Glovertown. Growing up on the north shore, we all knew the moms and dads of our friends, and Sammy Feltham sure was one of them. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. May your many memories be forefront in your minds, and help all of you through the difficult days ahead.
