Passed peacefully away at Gander Hospital on May 24, 2017. Leaving to mourn: daughters Marguerite, Evelyn (Jeff), son Phil (Lyla), grandsons Andrew Riggs (Jennifer), Jonathan Olson (Theda), great grandsons Matthew Olson, Ethan Riggs and great granddaughter Lauren Riggs, sister-in-law Mildred Stroud, brother-in-law Herb Cowan, special caretaker Patricia Arnold, Gloria Dyke (babtized by Clarence in 1954) and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Visitation to take place at 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Funeral will take place at St. Edwards Anglican Church, Glovertown, at 2 pm on Friday, May 26, 2017. Anyone wishing to make a donation may make it to the Red Cross or St. Edwards Anglican Church.
