Condolence From: Clarence & Patsy (Claude and Mrs Slocombe)
Condolence: Where do I start Danny old chap? A person's life is influenced by meeting others and events good and otherwise. Danny has left his mark on us from the colorful nicknames he bestowed upon us Mrs Slocombe (Are You Being served) Patsy and Claude Jeremiah Greengrass (Heartbeat) yours truly to his and later our appreciation of quality drama and comedy. Our memories of Danny are the love of family especially the grand children the stories of the early years growing up in Glovertown and working in Labrador. Because of Danny most of our evenings are spent watching TV series and Movies with people driving on the wrong side of the road, anything British, and an appreciation of good drama and quality programming. When I think of Danny I think of Revue at The Arts and Cultures , CBC Radio and Radio Noon. His knowledge of Music and Music Trivia it goes on and on. His years with recreation in the community will be his legacy and his tireless work ethic, his church and The Habs. Gone are the stories but they will live on in our memories. To Maisie, Pete, Jackie, Darryl, Penny the Grand and Great Grand Kids cherish your memories and time together you are all in our hearts these difficult days to come. God Bless

Condolence From: Andre & Delilah Delage
Condolence: Please accept my deepest and sincere condolence. I first met Danny in the winter of 2006 as a carrier. We were only here for a few months and Delilah acquired Danny services at the time. He was a very pleasant man to talk to… and he always took the time to listen, no matter how busy he was. Since then, we meet on different social event, and he still had good ears to listen. He was a sincere jolly good fellow. I am sure that he will be miss…. Until we meet again ”looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ,” Titus 2:13

Condolence From: Don and Linda Sweetapple
Condolence: To Maisie, Peter, Jackie and families. We are so sorry to hear of Danny's passing. Danny brings back many fond and humorous memories to me. I recall we used to travel together from Glovertown to Gander in the early 80s when he worked at Moffett's Moving & Storage. These were memorable times of much laughter with his never ending stories of living in Toronto and Labrador City and the many characters of Glovertown. When he was dressed as Santa Claus it was always something to look forward to and he brought many smiles to all, young and old alike. He always had a story to tell and whenever we met for whatever reason our times were always sidelined with many of these. Our condolences to your family, Danny will be missed by all. Don and Linda Sweetapple

Condolence: Danny my boy Where are we going to go now for a spot of tea and light refreshments. - and a fine chuckle? Who's going to answer my rock and roll trivia questions now? We know some of the radio stations asked you not to call in every day, as you knew all their contest trivia questions, and they hoped other people might know some of the answers . We didn't even mind you being a Habs fan as we cheered along with you when they won. We're sorry we can't be there for the funeral but we're thinking about you all day long. Our deepest condolences to Maisie and all the family. Love Lyla and Phil
